New Community Center Opens in Downtown

On May 15, 2023, the new community center located at 12 Main Street was officially inaugurated with a grand ceremony. This significant project was initiated by the mayor and city council, who dedicated over a year to its development. Approximately 200 citizens gathered to celebrate the occasion, which included an official ceremony and various cultural performances. In his speech, the mayor highlighted the importance of the center for the local community, describing it as a place for gathering and exchange. The establishment of the community center aims not only to enhance social cohesion but also to provide a variety of events and workshops accessible to all age groups. The construction began in January 2022 and was completed in April 2023. The modern facility is equipped to accommodate meetings, courses, and leisure activities.
