Game Room Setup: Desk Modification Journey

Setting up a new game room begins with modifying a desk to create a more practical gaming workspace. We started with an old Ikea Carby table, which did not look appealing in white, leading us to decide to customize it. However, the initial result did not meet our expectations, and the cabinet received criticism for its appearance. We had to alter our plans, which included removing the desk leg and attaching it directly to the Carlby table. Our first step was to source cheaper legs to ensure the table remained sturdy and looked better. The next phase involved assembling another table next to it, continuing the process of building the gaming setup on top of the main table. This development process resembles construction work, where each element is crucial, and even minor adjustments can significantly affect the outcome. The functionality and beauty of the game room emerge from careful selections and innovative ideas.
