Allegations of Corruption Involving a Minister

The situation escalated with the release of an audio clip on social media that allegedly discusses the solicitation of millions of baht. Today, the police announced that they have sufficient evidence to issue a summons or arrest warrant soon. The minister has filed a complaint against the accused individuals and stated that he does not know the female singer claiming to be part of his team. This case has sparked societal concerns about potential misinformation aimed at discrediting the minister's integrity. However, Pol Gen. Suwat, the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, continues to deploy an investigative team to thoroughly investigate the facts. He emphasized that if there are legitimate charges of solicitation, the accused individuals would not have the right to participate in traditional celebrations such as Loy Krathong. Ultimately, they would have to be held accountable under the law, regardless of who they are, if charges are indeed filed.
