Indonesian Officials' Meeting on Development Goals

During this week's introduction meeting, the Minister and members of Commission 5 of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) discussed assignments and targets for ministries. Several ministers, including the Ministers of Public Works, Housing, and Transportation, introduced and explained their ministries' primary responsibilities. The meeting also addressed the synergy and cooperation between the executive and legislative branches. The main focus was on the readiness of ministries to meet public aspirations, enhance transparency, and support national development, particularly in infrastructure and housing. There was a reinforcement of the performance of Commission 5 members in overseeing program implementation, effectively collaborating for community welfare. The introduction also included a collective movement for budget transparency and improved interaction between DPR members and ministries. Continuing the discussion, each ministry is expected to enhance synergy to achieve set targets. It is hoped that all ministries can coordinate effectively to implement strategic programs for the progress of the nation.
